Welcome to Conobtra Gordon Setters.  Since 1980 I have been competing with this versatile breed in conformation, agility, obedience, tracking and hunt work.   In 1990 I bred my first litter under the "Conobtra" prefix.  My kennel name is derived from the abbreviations of Conformation, Obedience and Tracking.  My goal is to produce an all-purpose Gordon that conforms to the Gordon Setter Club of American's breed standard and embodies their motto of "Beauty, Brains and Bird Sense".

            Numerous specialty wins on my bred-by dogs, including Best in Show, Best of Opposite, Award of Merit, Select dog, 
            Best of Winners, Best in Sweeps, Best of Opposite in Sweeps, all breed Best of breeds and Top Producer Awards.
     Obedience
            Earned the breed's first AKC Utility Dog Excellent (UDX) title.
            Numerous specialty High in Trials and High Combined Awards.
            Recipient of numerous GSCA obedience awards including winning
            the 2000 & 2001 Black & Tan Obedience Challenge Trophy, and GSCA Top Producer.
    Tracking
            Earned the breed's first AKC Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) title.
